Reuben Alexander Shores was born in 1802 in Surry, North Carolina, USA. The son of Simeon Shores and Mary Forbush.
He married Lucinda Woodruff on 12 April 1833 in Surry, North Carolina. They became the parents of ten children: Amzey Alexander Shores (1835-1918), Celia Elizabeth [Shores] Hannah (1839-1904), Amanda Viana [Shores] Holland/Phillips (1843-), Alonza Pinson Shores (1845-1913), William A. Shores (1848-), Daughter Shores (1849-), Jennettie [Shores] Walker (1851-1912), Rebecca Frances [Shores] Callahan (1854-1929) and Laura Josephine [Shores] Shell (1855-1912).
The family moved from Tennessee to Georgia between 1848 and 1850.
The 1870 Census Record lists his occupation as Manufacturer.
He died in 1874 in Floyd, Rome, Georgia, USA

I am not positive that he is buried in this cemetery, but have found other family members buried here. Could be the Bush Arbor Cemetery as well.
