Hebert Dearinger dies at Anderson. Herbert M. Dearinger 60, former Rush County farmer, died in St. John's Hospital, Anderson, at 5:30 am Sunday. He had been ill two months and in a serious condition for 10 days. Death was due to heart disease. Mr. Dearinger was a farmer and lived near Pendleton. He had spent most of his life in Rush and Shelby counties and until last October resided in Homer, Indiana. Born in Washington Twp., Nov. 21, 1883, the deceased was the son of George and Mary Ellen (Dearinger) Dearinger. On Nov. 18, 1906 he was married to Fern Steele and to this union 10 children were born, nine of whom survive. He was a member of the Homer Christian Church.
He leaves his wife; nine children, Mrs. Clifford Hill of Walker township, Denzil and Malcolm Dearinger of Indianapolis. Mrs. Ferald Ward of Arlington, Lowell S. Dearinger of Anderson, Hugh and Wendell Dearinger in the service overseas, and Howard Dearinger of Indianapolis and Marjorie Dearinger at home; one sister, Mrs. Clata Delinger of Homer, Russell and Loren Dearinger of Rushville; and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 pm Tuesday from the Homer Christian Church with the Rev. Charles Brick officiating. Burial will follow in the Arlington Cemetery. Friends may call at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ferald Ward in Arlington any time.
