W. L. DEARINGER IS FOUND DEAD

Wilbur L. Dearinger, 66, former resident of Shelby county was found dead at his home in Homer Friday evening about 6:30 o'clock. His wife had left the home for this city early yesterday morning and Dr. Robert Johnson, Rush county coroner, stated that death apparently caused by a heart attack, had occurred between 9:00 and 11:00 o'clock. Mr. Dearinger had not been in good health for two weeks.

A painter by occupation, he was born in Rush county on December 5, 1884, the son of Harlin and Mary E. Dearinger. He was a member of the Homer Christian Union Church.

On April 3, 1910, he was married to Chloa B Mahin. Surviving with the widow are a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert Briley of this city; one sister, Mrs. Clata Delinger of Carthage, and two brothers, Russell J. Dearinger and Loren Dearinger both of Rushville.

Funeral services will be held at the Homer Christian Union Church Monday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. O. J. McMullen of Jonesboro officiating. Interment, in charge of the Carmony Funeral Home in Manilla, will be at Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday.
