William Symes Dies at Local Hospital After Long Illness
William C. Symes, 67, died Saturday morning at a local hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Symes had been a resident of Great Falls for 19 years.
Mr. Symes was born in Glasgow, Scotland, March 19, 1869. He came to the United States with his parents when ten years of age, and the family located at Rock Springs, Wyo. He remained at Rock Springs until coming to Great Falls, and was employed as a mechanic.
Survivors are the widow, Elizabeth Symes of 3309 Second avenue north; one son, Avard Symes of Great Falls; two sisters and two brothers, none of whom reside here.
