J. W. BARGER DEAD.

Mrs. J. L. Carter, 620 State, received word this morning of the death of her brother, J. W. Barger, which occurred Tuesday evening at his home in Las Vegas, N. Mex. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Roberts-Blue chapel in Emporia. The Rev. J. H. J. Rice will conduct the services. Interment will be in Maplewood cemetery.

Funeral services for John W. Barger, of Kansas City, Mo., who died March 19 in Las Vegas, N. Mex., were held Friday afternoon at the Roberts-Blue chapel. The pall-bearers were Harry Hoover, Ted Hansen, Paul Knight, Sam Mole, Ralph Rose and Ray Marsh. Interment was in Maplewood cemetery.
John W. Barger, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. H. Barger, was born June 6, 1872, in Eureka. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Minnie Barger; his sisters, Mrs. J. L. Carter, Emporia; Mrs. L. L. Lake, Higginsville, Mo., and Miss Edith Barger, Kansas City, Mo., and a brother, Harry Barger, of Eureka.
