GRESHAMVILLE - John Able Sellers, 81, died Thursday, December 23, 1999, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Sellers was born June 19, 1918, in Banks County. He was a son of the late Willie and Sally Kesler Sellers.
Mr. Sellers had resided in Greene County for the past 60 years and was retired from Enterprise Aluminum, Eatonton, with 29 years of service. He was of the Methodist denomination.
Mr. Sellers was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Denise Sellers.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 24, at Fork Chapel United Methodist Church, Greshamville, with the Revs. Ann Fletcher and Mike Pritchett officiating. Burial was in Greshamville Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Estelle Greeson Sellers; three daughters, Patricia Ann Gillespie, Eatonton, Brenda Thompson, Rutledge, and Lynn Thomas, Eatonton; three sons, Tommy Sellers, Lawrenceville, and Larry Sellers and Jerry Sellers, both of Greshamville; one sister, Annie Loudermilk, Mt. Airy; one brother, Edd Sellers, Toccoa; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
McCommons Funeral Home, Greensboro, was in charge of arrangements.
