Toccoa, Ga. - Mrs. Sallie Kesler Sellers, 84, widow of Will M. Sellers and a well known matron of the Prospect Methodist Church community died in a local hospital Tuesday morning following an illness of several weeks.
A daughter of the late John and Jullie Segars Kesler, she was born June 14, 1882 in Franklin County and had lived practically all of her life in the Prospect section.
Mrs. Sellers was of the Methodist faith. Her husband died April 8, 1964.
Survivors,; one daughter, Mrs. Hubert Loudermilk, of Mt. Airy; six sons: Charlie Sellers of Toccoa, Lester Sellers of Winter Haven, Fla., Curtis Sellers of Toccoa, Dan Sellers of Madison, Ga., Fred and Ed Sellers both of Toccoa; 35 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; one brother Dock Kesler of Toccoa.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Prospect Methodist Church, the Rev. John Glover and the Rev. Lester Stamey officiating. Burial will be in the Prospect Church Cemetery.
