Birth: 9th of nine known children in Washington City, now Washington District of Columbia, one of three surviving to adulthood. (father, mother's first cousin, died eight months before her birth)

Ida's paternal grandparents were Irishman David Fulton and wife Elizabeth Savin, married 23 JUL 1794 in Cecil county, Maryland. David was 2nd Mayor of Little Rock in 1835, a Judge in 1836-38 and appointed "Surveyor General of Public Lands in Arkansas" by President Martin Van Buren in 1838, died 1843.

Census: 1850, age 6 Big Rock, Pulaski county, Arkansas with widowed mother,& two maternal aunts, listed Wm Ida Fulton.

Census: 1860, age 16 Georgetown Ward 4, Washington, District of Columbia with widowed oldest sister, her brood of five kids, widowed mother & maternal auntie.

Census: 1880, age 36 Big Rock, Pulaski county, Arkansas with hubby & one daughter.

Death: Location currently unknown, likely in Pulaski county, Arkansas (?).

Father: Senator William Savin Fulton b: 2 JUN 1795 Cecil county, Maryland.
Mother: Matlida Frances Nowland b: 4 AUG 1803 Maryland.

Marriage: William Hunter b: about 1839 North Carolina.
