Mrs. Lavada C. Hodge, 64, of Jefferson City, died Monday at the University of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia. A native of Camp Ark., Mrs. Hodge was born June 23, 1905, the daughter of Vance and Jennie Bell Barnett. On Jan. 14, 1923 in Arkansas, she was married to George James Hodge, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: One son, Frank E. Hodge, Jefferson City; two daughters, Mrs. Emma Branson, Hazelwood, and Mrs. Jessie Adair, Jefferson City; two brothers, Paul Barnett and Alva Barnett, both residing in the state of Oklahoma; and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Hodge was a member of the United Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, at the Dulle Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Pat Berry officiating. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery.
