The Rev. George James Hodge, 67, of 707 Buena Vista, died early Monday morning at St. Mary's Hospital following an illness of three years. Mr. Hodge was born June 25, 1899, at Henley, the son of Lee and Harriet Rush Hodge. He was married Jan. 14, 1923, at Camp, Ark., to the former Miss Lavada Barnett, who survives.
Other survivors include: One son, Frank Hodge, Jefferson City; two daughters, Mrs. Emma Branson, Hazelwood, and Mrs. Jessie Adair, Jefferson City; one brother, Elda Hodge, Mammoth, Ark.; and one sister, Mrs. Nancy McMillian, Jefferson City.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the Dulle Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Paris Berry officiating. Burial will be in the Long View Cemetery.
