Mrs. dorothy Mae Wickless, 75, of 7916 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, Frederick Memorial Hospital.

She was the wife of Augustine Gregory Wickless for 53 years.

Born March 5, 1921, in Frederick County, she was a daughter of the late John Bart and Martha Elizabeth Stine Bart.

Mrs. Wickless had been employed at Frederick Tailoring Co., and the Everedy Co., of Frederick.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Frederick.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Martha E. Gerwig and husband James of Keymar, and Mary M. Hamill of Denver, Pa.; two sons, Anthony F. Wickless and wife Susan of Middletown, and Robert W. Wickless of Mount Pleasant; six granechildren, Jennifer L. Gerwig, Brian L. McQuillen, Angela Dawn Wickless, Anthony James Wickless, Kathryn Ann Wickless and Amy Elizabeth Wickless; one great-granddaughter, Karollynn Wickless; and one sister, Marguerite Plunkert of Baltimore.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Wayne G. Funk, pastor of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
