DEATHSJOHN E. BARTJohn Edward Bart, formerly engaged in farming near Daysville, and who retired about ten years ago, died Saturday at six a.m. at his home, 307 East Patrick street. He had been in failing health for some years, but his last illness was of only two weeks' duration. He was aged 66 years, 6 months, and 25 days.He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha E. Stine Bart, and the following children: Wilfred A. Bart, Asthabula, O.: William H. Bart, Germantown; Mrs. Reno Coleman, Keymar; Charles Edward Bart, now in the service of the Army of the United States, in Texas; Marion T. Bart, United States Marines, somewhere in the Pacific; Merton J. Bart, at home; Mrs. Allen Plunkert, Loch Raven; and Mrs. Augustine Wickless, Frederick; 10 grandchildren; the following sisters: Mrs. William Sharretts, Unionville, and Mrs. Charles V. Black, Thurmont; and a number of nieces and nephews. Politically Mr. Bart was a Republican.The body is at his late home, 307 East Patrick street, where friends may call. Funeral arrangements will not be made until word is received from his son in Texas. When completed, they will be announced. C. E. Cline & Son, funeral directors.
