A 60-year-old Jamestown man, Kyle W. Daffron, succumbed suddenly of a heart attack Monday afternoon at the home of a brother, Arnold Daffron, in Jamestown. He had not been ill previously, according to the report.
He was first married to Lora Snow. She and four children survive-Mrs. Elizabeth Thompson, Mrs. Marcelene Alexander, Bryant Daffron and Woodson Daffron, all of Indianapolis.
Later he was married to Dorothy Brown. She and one child, Kyle Brent, survive. There are also five sisters, Mrs. Cora Weston, Jamestown, Mrs. Nora Bell and Mrs. Eula Bell, both of Albany, Mrs. Alma Holder, Maryville, Tennessee, and Mrs Huldah Mann, Rowena, three brothers, besides Arnold, Charley Daffron, New Castle, Ind., Woodrow Daffron, Jamestown, and Claude Daffron, Monticello.
The funeral was held Wednesday morning at Pine Grove Church, with Rev. George W. VanDevender conducting the services. Mr. Daffron was a Mason, and the services were complete with Masonic rites by Russell Lodge No. 284 F & M.
Arrangements were by H. E. Pruitt Funeral Home, and interment was in Pine Grove cemetery. — Times Journal, Russell Springs
