North - Bertha I, was born at Nappanee, Ind, May 16, 1894; died, following a heart attack, at Elkhart General Hospital, Feb 26, 1964; aged 69 y, 9 m, 10 d.
On Sept. 14, 1916, she was married to Homer F North, who survives. Together she and Bro North, an ordained minister, served the N Main Street Mennonite Church, Nappanee, Ind, for a total of 37 1/2 years.
Also surviving are one daughter (Mrs Olen Eicher), one son (Wayne), one brother (Ira Bechtel), 3 sisters (Mrs Willis Hostetler, Mrs Maurice Long, and Mrs Maude Weaver), and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services were in charge of Richard Yoder, assisted by J C Wenger and D A Yoder.
