Hostetler - Jessie, daughter of Menno and Elizabeth (Metzler) Bechtel, was born at Nappanee, Ind, Feb 1, 1885; died in Kokomo, Ind, Feb. 20, 1983; aged 98 y. On Dec. 19, 1908 she was married to Willis Hostetler in Miami Co IN who died on Mar 21, 1976. Surviving are 4 daughters (Idella - Mrs Clyde Sommers, Pauline Hostetler, Dorothea Miller, and Doris Osborne), one son (Earl Hostetler), 19 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and one sister (Mabel Long). Six grandchildren and one son Roy preceded her in death. She was a member of Howard-Miami Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Feb 24, in charge of Lee Miller and Elam Glick; interment in the Mast Cemetery. Gospel Herald Vol 76, No 12
