Services were held today for COZY BURGESS, 90, who died Thursday at Parkwood Health Care Center after being in failing health for the past three years. The funeral was at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, Lebanon, with the Rev. Fred Sharp officiating.

Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirklin Memorials may be made to the Christian Church of the donor's favorite charity.

Mrs. Burgess was born Oct 15, 1900, at Kirklin, a daughter of Uslyss and Nora Ann (Louks) Bogan. She was married Nov 29, 1923 at Kirklin to Rush Burgess who died Feb 18, 1982.

She was a graduate of Kirklin High School and worked for J.C. Penney in Bloomington from the 1920's until the early '50's.

She greatly enjoyed her home and cooking and was known as an excellent seamstress.

Mrs. Burgess was a member of the Kirklin Christian Church and its Priscilla Club.

She is survived by a son, Dr. William Burgess of Lebanon; brothers Robert Bogan of Lebanon and Lloyd Bogan of Mechanicsburg; and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
