Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Jones Deville, age 83, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Johnson and Rev. Ben Green officiating. Burial will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.

Mrs. Deville, a retired nurse and resident of Bastrop, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012. She was a charter member of Oak Hill Baptist Church and a former member of Beta Sigma Phi of Bastrop. Mrs. Deville was a doll artisan teacher and painter. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bennie Jones; parents, Ernest and Eula Austin; brothers, Tim and William; and sisters, Lettie, Mary, and Eugenia.

She is survived by her husband, J.B. Deville of Bastrop, LA; three daughters, Kathy Preddy of Winnfield, LA, Connie Priest of Bastrop, LA, Marilyn Kinnaird and husband Donnie of Bastrop, LA; two sisters, Pat Mercer and husband Jesse of Watkinsville, GA, Elaine Bernard and husband Ralph of Bunkie, LA; two brothers, Malcolm Austin and wife Lucille of West Monroe, LA, Harold Austin and wife Lexie of Hot Springs Village, AR; four grandchildren, Brandon Priest, Renee Kinnaird, Carrie Priest Meers and husband Jeff, Kimberly Coleman and husband Shaun; four great grandchildren, Jeffrey Michael Meers, Bryce Coleman, Jace Coleman, Samuel Priest, Ethan Flemming, whom she considered a grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
