Victor Anthony Gard, 71, died June 21, 1982 in Home Hospital. A native of Indiana, he lived in Jasper County before coming to Tippecanoe County. Living in Lafayette most of his life, he was educated at Ford School. In 1964, he married Dorothy Emmert in Delphi. He was a driver for Allied Van Lines, retiring in 1976. Besides his wife, he is survived by brothers Lawrence Gard of Orlando, FL; Russell Gard of West Lafayette; sisters, Clara (Earl) Archer, Edith Oley, both of Lafayette; and Ethel Kerkoff of Downers Grove, IL; also several nieces and nephews. A brother preceded in death.
