Funeral services for Andy Carter Jr., age 79, of Lake Providence, Louisiana will be 2:00PM, Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at the First Pentecostal Church, Lake Providence, Louisiana with Rev. Justus Boggan, Rev. Michael Barnett, and Rev. Terry Jordan officiating. Interment will be in the Providence Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Lake Providence.
Visitation will be Monday from 1:00PM - 8:00PM and Tuesday from 9;00AM until service time at the First Pentecostal Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Andy Carter Sr. and Loreen Thomasson Carter, brother, James Carter, 4 sisters, Eva Nell Sullivan, Brenda Mobley, Gertrude Stanley, and Lauvonda Pipes.
Andy is survived by his wife of 53 years Annie Pearl Madden Carter of Lake Providence, Louisiana, son and daughter-in-law, Michael Carter and Bobbi Jo Carter of Decatur, Alabama, daughter and son-in-law, Debra Hicks and Charles Hicks of Lake Providence, Louisiana, son and daughter-in-law, Tommy Joe Carter and Lana Lee Carter of West Monroe, Louisiana, daughter and son-in-law, Paula Lemke and Tommy Lemke of St. Joseph, Louisiana, brother, William F.
