Peggy Faye Gaston, age 86, of Wellington, died Thursday, February 15, 2018.

Peggy was born August 29, 1931 in Keller, TX, to Porter and Mary Higgins. She married Rev. Leroy Gaston in Weatherford, TX.

She served faithfully with her husband in Baptist churches throughout Texas for twenty years and enjoyed teaching Sunday School classes. In 1970, they moved to the northwest where her husband served as Director of Missions in Washington and Oregon.
After her husband’s death, she lived at Lake Greenbelt until moving to Parkview Manor Assisted Living in Wellington in 2009. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wellington.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy, a son, Larry Gaston and her daughter and son in law, Linda and Lorentz Larsen.

Peggy is survived by her daughter Sharon Covey and her husband Sandy of Wellington; a brother Raymond Higgins of Hurst; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and a special friend Marci Cantu.
