He was born May 9, 1932, to John and Dolly Lassonde, in Rolette County. He married Iris Olson on Nov. 29, 1952. They later divorced. He married Charlotte Sivertson on July 16, 1994, in Rolla.
Survivors: wife; sons, Fred Lassonde, of St. John, Martin Lassonde, Fort Washington, Md., Mark Lassonde, Rolla, Cory Guderjahn, Mansfield, Ohio, Milton Ward and James Ward; daughters, Fern Midstokke, Grand Forks, Tammy Lassonde, of St. John, and Cindy Le Blanc, Grand Forks, and Stella Tatro; 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and brother, James, Rolette.
Funeral: Saturday, 1 p.m., Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Rolla.
Burial: Rolla City Cemetery, Rolla.
