James Lassonde, age 77, of Rolette, ND passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at his home.
Funeral service was held at 10 am on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Rolla, ND with Pastor Mark Kolbo officiating.
Burial followed at the Rolla City Cemetery, Rolla, ND.
James Baker Lassonde was born on May l, 1935 in St. John to John Lassonde and Dolly (Babcock) Prouty. Jim was owner and operator of BJ Machine in Mauston, WI for many years. He was truly a worldly person and remained interested in learning many things from others. He realized he didn't know everything and was constantly learning and teaching until his death. Dad the circle of our love will never be unbroken.
Jim is survived by former wife Charmaine Popelier Lasssonde;Mauston,Wi. Fred Lassonde of Mauston, WI;and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, John Baptiste Lassonde; mother and step-father, Dolly and Stanley Prouty; son, Jimmie Lassonde; brothers, Walter and Fred Lassonde; sisters, Emma Lagasse and Doris Gross; grandson, Colton Davis.
