While there, she met Jean Bartholemy Antoine Troillet (original spelling was Trolliet). They were married on 8 December 1885 in the Cathedral of Sion, Sion, Switzerland.
The couple spent their first years of marriage in Salins,Valais, Switzerland. They emigrated to the United States in 1894 and settled in Conway, Faulkner County, Arkansas. Over the course of the marriage they had 11 children.
Their eldest son, Joseph, was killed only three days before the Armistice in the Battle of Argonne during World War I. Mrs. Troillet was a Gold Star Mother and visited her son's grave in France in 1930.
She died at the Lady of Nazareth Rest Home in Little Rock on Wednesday, 4 March 1959. There were two obituaries publish in local Arkansas papers, but the one laminated and given out as a memory card was the shorter one which appeared in the Arkansas Gazette on 5 March 1959. At the time of her death, she was survived by 5 of her children, a brother, 23 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held on Friday, 6 March 1959, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Conway, Arkansas, with the Rev. S. F. Deller officiating.
