BESSEMER CITY — William Spencer Coleman, 79, died March 6, 2004, at V.A. Regional Medical Center, Salisbury.
He was a native of Polk County, Tenn., son of Edna Runyan Womble of Ducktown, Tenn., and the late Calvin Coleman.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Macedonia Baptist Church, Gastonia
INTERMENT: Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, with full military rites by American Legion Post 243 Honor Guard
VISITATION: One hour before service at the church
He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and was a self-employed building contractor and auctioneer. He served in the United States Army and was a member of American Legion Post 243.
SURVIVORS: Son, William Daniel Coleman of Jacksonville, Fl.; mother, Edna Runyan Womble of Ducktown, Tn.; brothers, Joe Womble of Atlanta, Ga., J.C.
