The 1894 St. Clair, Michigan State census, City of Port Huron, Ward 3, household Conkey, Arthur; Arthur's wife Minnie Krousey (Krause) daughter of Anthony and Wilhelmina Krause stated her parents were born in Saxony, Germany.

Wilhelmina's parents were Carl Werner and Anna Mittletsie. Both were born in Germany.

Anthony married Wilhelmina Werner, the place and date is currently unknown.

Also listed were three sons and two daughters as follows: Lew Krouse (Krause), a white male, age 27, single, his occupation was a teamster, born in New York. Amelia Krouse (Krause), white, female, age 21, daughter, single, born in Canada. Edward Krouse (Krause), a white male, age 13, single, in school, born in Canada. William Krouse (Krause), a white male, age 12, single, in school, born in Canada. Pauline Krouse (Krause), a white female, age 9, single, in school, born in Michigan. They all lived at 312 7th Street, Port Huron, Michigan.

Anthony Krause died in February 1887 at age 63 in Port Huron, Michigan. He was buried on 28 February 1887 in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron, St. Clair County, Michigan. William Krause, age 48, died at his home 1?14 Scot Street Sunday evening after a lingering illness. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Louis and Edward and Miss Ann a Krause, Mrs. Arthur Conkey and Mrs. William May, all of this city. The funeral will be held from the family residence Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment was at Lakeside cemetery.

Wilhelmina "Minnie" C. Krause Conkey died 27 April 1928 in Port Huron, Michigan, age 76 years, 6 months, 17 days. The cause of her death was Cerebral Hemorrhage. She is buried in Lakeside Cemetery, F27, grave 2. Minnie and her husband Arthur Martin Conkey have a nice tombstone.

Miss Anna L. Krausie, 69, portrait painter, died today in her home, 759 Water Street, after an illness of several weeks.

She was born in Michell, Ont. October 9, 1861, and is survived by two brothers, Lewis Krausie (Krause) Port Huron; and Edward Krausie, (Krause) Ashtabula, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. William May, Port Huron.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday in Falk's funeral residence. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.

Lewis Krause died 23 February 1932 in Port Huron, Michigan, age 79 years, 1 month, 8 days. The cause of his death was Pneumonia Hypostatic. She is buried in Lakeside Cemetery, F28 grave 3. No tombstone.

Lewis Krause, 74 Dies In Hospital

Lewis Krause, 74 was a lifelong resident of Port Huron, died today in Port Huron hospital. He is survived by a sister Mrs. Emma May, Port Huron, and a brother Edward Krause, Ashtabula, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Falk's funeral residence. Dr. W. W. McKee pastor of First Methodist Episcopal church will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.

Emma B. Krause May died 25 March 1939 at her home 1110 Lapeer Avenue, Port Huron, Michigan, age 83 years, 11 months, 18 days. The cause of her death was Mitral Regurgitation. Buried beside her husband William May in Lakeside Cemetery F10, grave 2. Emma and William have a nice tombstone.

Edward A. Krause died 14 October 1960 at the residence of his daughter Louise Krause Rennick, 14926 Terrace Road, East Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. He was age 91 years his last birthday. The cause of his death was Cerebral Thrombosis. He was cremated and buried at Highland Park Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.
