"MRS. CHAS. MORRIS DIES IN PANAMA

Miss Mary Roberts is just in receipt of a cablegram from her brother, Chas. L. Morris of Balboa, Canal Zone stating that his wife, Mrs. Jennie Hays Morris passed away today. Funeral will be conducted Thursday at their former home in Corozal.


Mrs. Morris had been ill for quite a while in the hospital. She is survived by her husband and one son Jack F. Morris who reside on the canal and one sister, Mrs. C. L. Harris of Knoxville and one brother John G. Hays of this city.


Mrs. Morris was the daughter of the late Ex Sheriff and Mrs. J. F. Hays. She was born as Russellville but spent all her school days in Morristown.


She has been a resident of the Canal Zone for over thirty years where her husband has been employed on the canal by the Government.


Mrs. Morris will be remembered as being of very sunshiney disposition and had many friends here and in Chicago where they formerly resided."
