She was born January 2, 1924, in Stella, Missouri, to Johnny Lee and Tina Mae (Jones) Dopp.
Mrs. Vance was a homemaker and a lifelong area resident.
She is survived by two children, Opal Jennings and Daniel Joe Vance, both of Joplin, MO; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
