Angus A. Martin Sr., 79, Dickinson Center, died Wednesday Apr. 3, 1974 in Alice Hyde Hospital, Malone shortly after being admitted. The funeral was held Saturday a 9 a.m. at St. Ann's Church with Rev. Lian O'Doherty, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. He is survived by eight sons; Gerald, St Regis Falls, Lyle, Cattaraugus, Gordon and Melborne, Hamiturg, Anjus, Jr., Sodus, Howard, Mark and Earl, Dickinson Center, four daughters, Mrs. Edward (Rhoda) Gokey, Malone, Mrs. Arnold (Betty) French, North Bangor, Mrs. Donald (Odena) Genaway, Regis Falls, and Mrs. Malcom (Edna) Fye, Dickinson Center, 37 grandchildren; one brother, Walter Martin, Malone and one sister, Mrs.(Emma) Braban, Dickinson Center. Mr. Marin was born in Massena Nov. 30, 1894, a son of Jerry and Elizabeth Derouchie Martin.He attended local schools and farmed all of his adult life near Dicinson Center. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mrs. Gardner Martin and Lavare Martin.
