Jesse Talmage Adams,78, of Rt.2 Pocahontas was dead on arrival at Randolph County Hospital Wednesday June 7,1978. He was born Oct. 17,1899 in Randolph County, a son of the late Thomas and Lucie Pratt Adams.His wife Bessie Guthrey Adams preceded him in death. He is survived by 2 sons Bill Adams of Pittsfield, IL. and Dorman Adams of Dyer Ind.; 2 brothers Norace Adams of Corning and Horace Adams of Grand Junction Az.; 1 sister Trellos Crawley of Reyno; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral with Rev. Junior Jernigan officiating. Burial followed in Nelson Cemetery with McNabbs in charge. Pallbearers were Frank Kincade, Daley Stanfill, Walter Lester, Ted Bowers and Vernon and Ronnie Cline.
