DEATH OF RUTH ALEXANDER.
Esther, the 2-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Alexander, died this morning at 7 o'clock of membraneous croup, at the home 324 South Commercial street. The funeral will take place from the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. J. P. Lucas, of the Christian church, will conduct the services. The bereaved parents will have the sympathy of the entire community in their affliction.

DEATH OF A LITTLE CHILD.
The Daughter of H. S. Alexander Passes Away This Morning.
Esther, the two-year-old daughter of City Clerk Alexander and his wife, died this morning at 8 o'clock. She had been suffering from membraneous croup for several days, but it was not until yesterday that any danger was feared. The child was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander.
The funeral will be held from the house at 324 South Commercial tomorrow at 2 o'clock. Rev. Lucas will conduct the services. The house is under quarantine and the services will be private. The sorrowing family have the sincere sympathy of their many friends. The council will not meet tonight out of respect to Mr. Alexander.
