Larry Spencer Cottrill, 71, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away January 21, 2018, in Camden Clark Medical Center, following a brief illness.

He was born November 15, 1946, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Chester Ray Sr. and Clara (Milton) Cottrill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Chester Ray Cottrill Jr., and one sister Debbie Balier.

Larry retired from S.W. Resources, Parkersburg with several years of service. He attended the Souls Refuge Church and was a member of the walking club at the Grand Central Mall. He was an avid reader and enjoyed western books and making beaded necklaces and bracelets for family and friends. Larry loved country music especially Roy Clark and enjoyed watching the Little House on the Prairie. He loved his REM family and his nieces and nephews.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 16 years, Teresa Ann (Rexroad) Cottrill and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Service will be 1 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor John Longfellow officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
