ROBERT F. CALKINS

Robert F. Calkins,age 60, of Bellevue, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw. Robert was born the son of Donald F. and Edna L. (Reed) Calkins on April 14, 1941 in Clare. Robert had worked in the oil fields for years, before becoming an independent Oil Well Consultant.

Robert is survived by a daughter RoseAnn Calkins-Kulman of Memphis, his brother James R. (Connie) Calkins of Clare, and two granddaughters. He is also survived by many friends and relatives in Utica, OH. Robert was preceded in death by his son Robert D., his parents, and two sisters Donna M. Hanley and Vietta M. Wood.

Services for Robert will take place on Saturday, March 30 at 1 p.m. at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home with Pastor Church Malson officiating. Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery in Clare. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donors Choice.
