Eleanor Teresa Ulrich, 83, was born on June 21, 1923 in Ellsworth, Kansas, the daughter of John and Katharine (Hermreck) Kueser, and passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at the Smoky Hill Care Center in Salina. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. For the majority of her life she was a "stay at home mom" to raise her five children.

On April 12, 1947 she was joined in marriage to William E. Ulrich at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Ellsworth. Since making her home in Salina she has been a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she attended regularly.

Eleanor is survived by her husband, William "Bill", Sr. of 59 years of the home; three daughters, Genie Ulrich, Peggy Copp and Mary K. Kirk and her husband Keith all of Salina; two sons, William E. Jr. and his wife Terry of Salina and Dale and his wife Karen of Sabetha, Kansas; four sisters, Lucille Coupal of Hays, Kansas, Katharine Kratzer of Geneseo, Mildred Stefek and Monie Wallert and her husband Roy all of Ellsworth, Kansas; a brother, John "Bud" Kueser and his wife June of Ellsworth, Kansas; 16 loving grandchildren and 27 also loving great grandchildren.
