Myra Gertrude(Hunnicutt)Beard was born in Modoc, Randolph County, Indiana to Charlie D.Hunnicutt(B.1854)and Aurie M. Hunnicutt(b.1858). In 1910 at the age of 17, Myra was living in Perry,Wayne County, Indiana. Myra married Harry McClellan Beard, 23 December,1911 in Wayne County, Indiana. They had 10 children, Francis M. Beard(1913-1994), Bessie L. Beard(1914-2009), John William Beard(1916-1995), Harry J. Beard(1919-2003), Walter Earl Beard(1921-2009), James Howard Beard(b.1924), Raymond E. Beard(1926-1928), Charlotte Hazel Beard(1929-2009), Chester Lee Beard(b.1934), Esther Lucille Beard(1934-2003). Myra died 13 February,1973 in Randolph County, Indiana at the age of 101 years of age. She was two months short of her 102nd birthday.

Myra was the sister of Miriam Alice(Hunnicutt)Beard.
