Grace Usery Fesmire (1922 - 2012)
Funeral services for Grace Usery Fesmire, age 90, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at George A. Smith & Sons North Chapel with Minister David Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Doug Hayes, Paul Norris, Gary Martin, John Verrell, James Boone and Alan Verrell.
Mrs. Fesmire died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Mrs. Fesmire was born May 25, 1922, daughter of the late Frank and Willie Jane Usery. On April 3, 2012, Mrs. Fesmire and her husband, W. Lanoice Fesmire, celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary. She was an avid gardener and always enjoyed working with her plants. Mrs. Fesmire was a faithful member of the North Jackson Church of Christ, and was a Christian lady who loved everyone and lived her life as an example for all to follow.
She is survived by her husband and daughter, Nancy McDonald Mitchell (Don) of Jackson, TN.
Mrs. Fesmire was preceded in death by her brothers, Ewell Usery (Lora Mae), William Usery (Helen) and Neal Usery (Lonnie); her sisters Arnez Perkins "Dee", Laverne Cunningham (Walter) and Eva Mae Amis (Thomas).
Mrs. Fesmire had been employed by Kisbers Department Store, John E. Parker, and Hollands Department Store.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to North Jackson Church of Christ, 2780 Hwy. 45 Bypass, Jackson, TN 38305.
