LEXINGTON -- Laverne Cunningham, 67, retired employee of Salant & Salant Inc., died Saturday morning of congestive heart failure. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Pafford Funeral Home with burial in Caffey Cemetery near here. She was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Cunningham, the wife of Walter Harold Cunningham, also leaves a son, Mike Cunningham of Lexington; two sisters, Evie Mae Amis of Lexington and Grace Fesmire of Jackson; two brothers, Euell Ussery and Ne il Ussery, both of Lexington, and a grandchild.
