Bernice Brooks was born July 10, 1928 in La Grange, Texas and passed away on May 28, 2012 at Memorial Hermann at Memorial City Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Annie Sivek. Bernice is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Brooks; her children, Shirley Montgomery and husband David, Joyce Chisholm and husband Andrew, Robert Brooks and wife Marilyn, Roger Brooks and Ronald Brooks and wife Patricia; five wonderful grandchildren, Allen, Logan (Amber), Bryan, Joshua (Christina) and Ronnie; four great-grandchildren, Kylie, Kolby, Madalynn and Marabella. Bernice will be missed as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Visitation will be Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Pat H. Foley & Company. Bernice will be laid to rest at Houston National Cemetery.
