Orville Frank Margrave, 73, of 4544 State Line, Kansas City, Kansas, died Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital in Kansas City, where he had been a patient for ten days.

Mr. Margrave was born in Pittsburg, October 12, 1894, and had been a resident of the Kansas City area for 45 years. He retired in 1961 as a pipefitter, employed by the Corn Products Refining Company. He had worked for the company 35 years.

He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the Army in the 34th Infantry Division.

He was a member of the VFW post in Kansas City, Kansas, and also was a member of the Epworth Methodist Church.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Bernice Margrave of the home; two sons, John L. Margrave, Houston, Texas, and Robert H. Margrave, Kansas City, Kansas; one daughter, Mrs. Wilma Hayward, Kansas City, Kansas; two brothers, Roy Margrave, Golden Age Lodge No. 2, Pittsburg, and Lawrence Margrave, Alameda, California, and ten grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the Gates Chapel, State Line and 41st, Kansas City, Kansas, with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.
