Mrs. Bernice Margrave, 69, Kansas City, Kansas, suffered a heart attack and died at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. J. F. Hamilton, Girard, Saturday afternoon.
Mrs. Margrave was born June 1, 1900, at McCune. She had graduated from Cherokee High School and attended Kansas State College of Pittsburg, before teaching school at Liberty, Mt. Pleasant, and Idell schools.
She was married to [sic] Orvil Margrave, and they then lived in Kansas City until he died about two years ago.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Margrave, Kansas City, Kansas, and John Margrave, Houston, Texas; and one daughter, Mrs. Wilma [sic]Hayworth, Kansas City, Kansas.
The body is to be taken from the W. D. Smith Funeral Home in Girard to Gates Funeral Home in Kansas City, where funeral arrangements will be announced.
