Elizabeth, third child of John Matthew Garner and Mary (Brumbaugh) Garner, was born August 11, 1816. She married James K. Isett; they were both natives of Penn Twp, Huntingdon County. He died July 1863 and she died at Marklesburg in March 1889. He was a farmer, a republican, and an elder in the Lutheran Church. They had eleven children: Matthew, Mary A., John, George W., James M., Samuel G., Luther, John A., Benjamin F., Henry H. and Jennie.
