Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Donald Lowery of Statesboro; two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna and Smokie Roberts of Riverdale and Gayle L. Gibbs of Statesboro; four grandchildren, Michelle and Billy Pildner of Locust Grove, Brandy and Armando Rowlands of McDonough, Amanda and Isaac Young of New York, N.Y., and Ashley Gibbs of the U.S. Navy; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Carlene Akins and Christine Sparks both of Statesboro and Shirley Beasley of Fayetteville and a brother, Bobby Clayton of Savannah.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Osborne officiating. Interment will be in the Eastside Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be past and present school bus drivers and staff of the school bus garage of the Bulloch County Board of Education. Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.
