Born June 5, 1910, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Everett and Maude (Arthur) Gilliand.
She was retired from Indiana University Halls of Residence. She was a member of Cherry Hill Christian Church, Monday Night Guild and Borrowed Time Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Leona Edwards of Bloomington and Connie Abrams of Unionville; three sons, Thomas Crouch of Gosport, and Kenneth Crouch and Robert Crouch, both of Bloomington; one brother, Robert Darrell Gilliand of Bloomington; 22 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Crouch; one son, Donald R. "Buckshot" Crouch; one sister, Marie Adams; seven brothers, Ivan Gilliand, Fremont Gilliand, Cleo Gilliand, Edward Gilliand, Doris Gilliand, Harold Gilliand and Paul Freeman; and one grandson.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home with the Revs. Kirby Tiller, Kim Norris and David Campbell officiating. Burial will be at Chambersville Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
