She retired from Cook, Inc. in 1997, with 20 years of service.
She married David L. Edwards Sr. Dec. 20, 1952, and he preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter, Terri L. Edwards of Bloomington; two sons, David L. Edwards, Jr. and Roger A. Edwards Sr., both of Bloomington; two granddaughters, Erin Hallett (Jason) and Claire Edwards, both of Spencer; two grandsons, David L. Edwards of Bloomington and Roger A. Edwards Jr. (Jessica) of Bloomington, currently serving in Afghanistan; two great-granddaughters. Jayden Edwards and Cheyenne Hallett, both of Spencer; one great-grandson, Tristan Edwards of Bloomington; one sister, Connie Abrams of Unionville; three brothers, Thomas Crouch Jr. of Gosport, Robert Crouch and Kenneth Crouch, both of Bloomington; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald Crouch.
Funeral services for Leona will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, 4155 South Old Highway 37. Burial will follow at the Chambersville Cemetery.
