ENID -- Mrs. Walter Went, 76, died Tuesday (13 Aug) in an Enid hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Went will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of the Fossett Funeral Home, with Dr. Leslie G. Everitt Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery.
Mrs. Went was born on a farm west of Enid and was married to Walter Went on May 21, 1922, in Enid. He died May 21, 1968. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include a son, Russell Went of Fountain Valley, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Bob (Virginia) King of Oklahoma City, Mrs. (Janice) Coombs of Enid and Mrs. Jarilyn Riley of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Henry Rusmisel, and a sister, Mrs. George (Irene) Thain, both of Enid; seven grandchildren and a great grandchild.
