Myron Huffman, well known farmer of the town of Marshall, died suddenly at his home on Sunday morning at the age of 27. Mr. Huffman was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Huffman and was born in the town of Rockbridge on May 6, 1919. His death was caused by heart trouble coupled with other complications.
Myron had earned the respect of a wide circle of friends and relatives. Despite the handicap of impaired health he always maintained a cheerful and optimistic outlook on life. He was very considerate and thoughful of his family and friends, never complaining, but always patient.
For the past nine years, ever since the death of his father, Myron has carried on very successfully the home farm at Gillingham, being compelled only very recently to quit active farming, due to ill health.
Surviving are his mother Mrs. Ethel Huffman, a brother Bernard, numerous uncles and aunts and a host of friends. Funeral services were held from the Fancy Creek Presbyterian church this Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Charles Hubanks officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
