Rebecca M. Fowler, 84, Lebanon, died at 10:20 a.m., May 24, 1992, at Spring View Manor Nursing Home, Lebanon. Fowler was born December 24, 1907, in Nicholasville. She was a housewife and member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by: her parents, William H. and Fannie (Burrous) Megee; her twin brother, William E. Megee; and one sister, Elizabeth Taylor. Survivors include: her husband, Roland Fowler Sr.; four sons, Roland Fowler, Jr. of Mayfield, Joe Fowler of Lebanon, Tommy and W. A. Fowler of Lexington; four daughters, Evelyn Nicholson of Louisville, Dorothy Wayne of Harrodsburg, Alma Parrott of Lebanon and Lila Jobe of Athens, Ga.; one sister, Mary Clay Shaw of Louisville; 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m., May 26, 1992, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Ivo Cecil officiated. Pallbearers were Rick, John, Tony, and Tommy Fowler, Tommy Parrott, Terry Roberts, Bob Helm and Ronnie Wayne. Prayer services were held at 7:30 p.m., May 25, 1992, at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, which was in charge of the arrangements.
