JOSEPH FABIAN BUCKMAN, 65, of Lee Avenue, Lebanon, died at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 7 at his residence. Mr. Buckman was a native of Marion County and a retired construction electrician. His parents were the late Joseph Kelly and Virginia Boarman Buckman. Survivors include: his wife, Elizabeth Johnson Buckman; three sons, Joseph Fabian Jr. of Chicago, IL., James Edward of Floyds Knobs, Ind., and Joseph Kelly Buckman of Louisville; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Abell of Winterhaven, Florida; four sisters, Mrs. Geneva Hunt of Bardstown; Mrs. Mildred Boklage, Mrs. Isabelle Falone and Mrs. Virginia Boone of Louisville; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Aug. 10 at Saint Augustine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Roger Boehmicke officiated. Pallbearers were Gray Caskey, Neal Brown, Emanuel Mattingly, Timothy Buckman, Mike Falone and Kenny Buckman. Bosley Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
