Services for Sylvester O. "Pat" Pfeiffer, 41, of Yamhill will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 4, in Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park. Pfeiffer died March 30, 1966 while at work 10 miles from Rose Lodge.

Son of Edward and Sophia Strom Pfeiffer, he was born Oct. 7, 1924, in Minot, N.D. was raised in Deering, N.D., and when 18 years of ago came to Oregon to be with his brother. Following his discharge from the Armed Forces, he lived in Klamath Falls, marring Justine Smith there Oct. 1, 1950. Since 1957 he had been employed as a log truck driver for C.F. Laughlin Company and had lived in Yamhill.

Pfeiffer was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and BPOE 1283, McMinnville.

Survivors include his widow; a son and two daughters, Timothy Lee, Vicki Lynn and Susan Jean, all at home; a brother, Lyle E. of Newberg; four sisters, Mrs. Borgel Anderson and Mrs. Vanetta Wold, both of Glenburn, N.D., Mrs. Vera Eng, Braham, Minn., and Mrs. Sylvia Erickson, Bellevue, Wash.

Contributions may be made to the Oregon Heart Association. Macy and Son has been in care of arrangements.
