McLOUD, Okla. —Eddie Oscar Loman, 102, of McLoud, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 4, 1909, in Gassville, Ark., the son of John and Nancy (Newton) Loman. In 1928, the family moved to the McLoud area.
He married Imogene Alice Batt on Nov. 15, 1934.
He farmed and was a carpenter most of his life and was an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, five brothers and eight sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Stevens of McLoud and Mary Jane McDaniel and husband, Marland, of McLoud; four grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, May 25, at McLoud United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles King officiating. Burial will be at Dale Cemetery.
Walker Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McLoud United Methodist Church.
