She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Patch. In 1941 she moved from Brockton to Spokane and then to Sidney, MT in 1943 and came to Billings in 1948. She was married to Warren R. Smith in Stanford August 6, 1948.
At age 43, she died of cancer.
Surviving are her widower, two sons by a previous marriage, Duane Barth of Seattle and James Barth of Billings, two daughters, Mrs. Uriah Thatcher of Billings and Mrs. Norman Olson of Culbertson; two stepsons and a step daughter, four brothers: Wendall Patch of Sidney, Orin of Brockton and Kenneth and Stanley, both of Indiana; one sister, Mrs. Joe Mercer of Kalispell and six grandchildren.
